Here we are on finalization day. A journey that started only a little over a year ago closes today on February 13th, 2007 at the courthouse with Lisa our social worker. Lisa is an angel to our family. Our family is complete. We could not have done it without the help of God, and our friends and families. Thank you to all of our wonderful friends and to our supportive families who made this miracle come true.
Cove Adoptive Families Mission is to share with our community the joy adoption has brought to our lives and to advocate for all of the children in the world who are awaiting the opportunity to be joined with their family.
We are a support group for Adoptive Families, Waiting Families, and those interested in advocating or learning about Adoption. We are open to the public. We are an informal group that meets monthly to share our adoption and parenting resources. We enjoy the company of one another and enjoy interacting with other families who share the same daily joys and challenges as all families do. It is an opportunity for our children to interact with one another and for the parents to do the same.

By adopting a child and helping them reach their potential, they help us reach ours. An adopted child is not an unwanted child; to the contrary. They are a child who was searched for, prayed for, cried for, begged for; received by arms that ached, making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared."Author unknown
“I didn’t give you the gift of life, But in my heart I know. The love I feel is deep and real, As if it had been so. For us to have each other is like a dream come true. No, I didn’t give you the gift of life, Life gave me the gift of you.” -Unknown
"I have three children. One is adopted. I forget which one.”
“Adoption is not about finding children for families, it's about finding families for children”
However motherhood comes to you, it's a miracle. -Valerie Harper
A baby is a miraculous gift from God, no matter how one receives it. Some are given the ability bear them, others the ability to rear them.
